FIRAS ELABED — VISUAL ARTIST Firas Elabed is an MFA-trained expressionist painter. His work explores modern numbness, suppressed emotion, and the silent friction between the composure we present to the world and the collapse that occurs behind closed doors.

THE CONCEPT: COMPOSED & UNDONE The signature visual theme of the work centers on composure — faces that hold the line while the eyes reveal what the composed face refuses to speak.
